What is Marble?

Marble is a Metamorphic rock that forms when limestone is subjected to the heat and pressure of metamorphism, marble is commonly used in bathrooms or for fireplaces. It is more porous, softer and less durable when compared to granite, much like granite marble needs to be sealed regularly.
